I cut into the triangle dent and joined it back onto the outside to create a further 3 triangles, making a total of 5 altogether. I also experimented with different sizes for the central triangle.

Further Experimentation and development
Carrying on from the previous idea I looked into how I could build more triangles into one section and then duplicate.
